The iPSC Organoid Core Facility will serve as a core resource, providing researchers within the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and the broader Rutgers community with access to cutting-edge human organoid technologies.
Human organoids are advanced, three-dimensional (3D) cell culture systems that mimic the structure and function of human organs, offering invaluable models for studying human development, disease mechanisms, drug discovery, and personalized medicine. The iPSC Organoid Core Facility will leverage the Keck Center's expertise, support its collaborative research goals, and contribute to its mission by providing specialized services, training, and fostering innovation. Initial service offerings will focus on organoid production for varying durations and hands-on training, with plans for expansion based on emerging needs and technological advancements.
