Natural Products and Bioanalysis Core

Overview of Services

The Natural Products and Bioanalysis Core offers resources and services in the following areas:

  • Targeted metabolomic studies using UHPLC-QQQ/MS
  • Non-targeted metabolomic studies and proteomic studies using UHPLC-QTOF/MS
  • Quality control on natural products using LC/UV/MS
  • Chemical profiling, characterization and bioanalysis of aromatic volatile compounds and fatty acids using GC-QQQ/MS with headspace analysis
  • Structure elucidation of natural and synthetic compounds using NMR

Our facility also has a research lab dedicated to hemp analysis (for THC, CBDs and aromatic terpenes) and accept samples when accompanied with proper permits. Special testing services are also available for spices, essential oils, and hops (bitters and aromatics).
